She's dressed to kill... FASHION: Outlandish Lady Gaga leaves NOTHING to the imagination as she flashes her skimpy lingerie in an open robe and garish orange chaps

They were conflicting decades with vastly polarised fashions and ideologies, but Lady Gaga did her upmost to unite them with another outlandish ensemble during her latest London visit.
The bizarre singer is currently in town for a one-off performance at the Jingle Bell Ball on Sunday evening, and she was on top form as she exited the luxury Langham Hotel hotel that afternoon.
While the city appears to have missed the devastating storms that recently swept across the UK,  Gaga was whipping up a frenzy in her own right courtesy of an outfit that gamely attempted to marry sixties bohemian couture with the colourful glam eccentricities of the ensuing decade.

Indeed, the 27-year-old star was quite a sight as she clambered down the stone steps and on to the street in a pair of multi-coloured platform boots.

As the wind blew a gale on another chilly day, Gaga opted to keep her tasselled robe open – beneath which only an orange bra and knickers protected her modesty.
The Applause singer appeared to incorporate a theme of sorts by matching her exposed lingerie with a pair of garish orange chaps that casually flapped in the wind as she sashayed towards a waiting car.

Gaga completed the look with a pair of fishnet tights, while round spectacles with a multi-coloured tint gave it an additionally peculiar flourish.
The New Yorker’s return to London comes on the back end of a furious promotional campaign for third album ARTPOP.
That release has prompted critics to sharpen their knives after initial sales proved to be significantly lower than its predecessor, Born This Way.

Despite climbing to the top of the US Billboard chart, ARTPOP shifted 258,000 copies in its first week of sale – comparatively modest when compared to the 1.1 million units sold during her second LP’s first week of release in 2011.
The singles, amongst them opening salvo Applause and Do What U Want featuring R. Kelly, have also struggled commercially – despite a seemingly endless stream of promotional appearances on prime-time shows, amongst them The X Factor and Alan Carr’s Chatty Man.

It was during her interview with flamboyant entertainer Carr that she spoke candidly about her use of marijuana.
'The thing that I fell in love with about it is that I completely forget that I'm famous. I totally forget about it all,’ she said.
'I take a puff and I'm me when I was 17 again in my white gogo boots looking for a job and there's something quite creative and liberating about that.'
