Story HighlightRapper, Chris Kelly, one half of the 90s rap duo Kriss Kross, has died at the age of 34.
Chris ‘Mac Daddy’ Kelly had a huge hit with the KISSTORY favourite, Jump, in 1992 alongside his bandmate Chris ‘Daddy Mac’ Smith.
Kelly was found “unresponsive” at his home and died in a US hospital.
Loads of tributes have been coming in on twitter since the news was made public. Timbaland and Big Boi were some of the first to offer their condolences.
The pair were discovered by Jermaine Dupri, in an Atlanta shopping centre and their debut album ‘Totally Krossed Out, went platinum. They were known for wearing their clothes backwards and they also joined Michael Jackson on his Dangerous World tour.
At the moment, there has been no official confirmation of the cause of death. An autopsy is due to be held on Thursday.
