it is estimated that hundreds of millions of gallons of oil and oil waste gets dumped into the world ocean every year, none of which will go away for hundreds, thousands or even millions of years. Some of the damage simply cannot be reversed. Add the growing by the minute garbage continents (not "patches"), nuclear waste, and all the other kinds of waste dumping - we have a real problem on our hands, we are literally destroying all life on earth, and there is no going back, no clean-up, no fixing the global pollution catastrophe ... I see it plain and clear.
